Tumu Korero

Kia orana

As a registered teacher, I believe that children are gifts from God. In my work I treasure them as unique individuals and humbled that parents entrust me to learn and grow their potential.  I value these relationships, they are pivotal to the foundation of my teaching and working practices.

I am privileged to be working in a diverse and dedicated team of strong women who are passionate in what they do.  I am passionate about providing cultural sustainability for this generation and our future.

My energy is shared between two beautiful daughters, my son-in-law, my husband who is the backbone of our anau and our inquisitive grandson. Our home beats with all these people and our German Shepherd; Tempo. A good walk, a great read and a hazelnut latte keeps me on my toes.

There are two wise Cook Islands sayings that brings to mind of who I am.  That I have the tools and skills to prepare children for the future but I will never forget the Christian values embedded in me by my parents, to teach a child how to live and they will remember this for life.
